Crowning of Mary
Each May, it is a tradition in our church to crown an image of our Blessed Mother Mary. This year, due to the Cornavirus and the suspension of our public Masses, we were unable to celebrate this ritual. Since the month of October is traditionally dedicated as the month of the Rosary and our Blessed Mother, we will celebrate the Crowning of Mary ritual at our Sunday Masses on October 11th. We invite you to join us for this wonderful ritual.

Good Shepherd’s Celebration of
October, the Month of the Rosary
Praying the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been a Tradition in our Catholic Church for centuries and since the 1800s the entire month of October has been dedicated to the Rosary. The Liturgical Feast day of Our Lady of the Rosary (also, Our Lady of Victory), is October 7th. During the month of October, the rosary will be recited before each WEEKEND Mass; Saturday Evening at 5:10pm and Sunday morning at 9:40 am. In addition, for the month of October, we will also be praying the Rosary each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3:00pm at Good Shepherd Church This will be a great time to gather and bring our petitions to the Blessed Mother. Please see if you can join us and make this a special offering of your time in prayer. Unable to come to church? Join us in spirit and pray from where you are!
